bought a set of 3 modules, one seems to be unreliable; output of 9V source bounces between 9V and 5.75V, but not 3.3V. remaining 2 modules work well, solid 3.28 ~ 3.3V

I ordered some of these because ordering the 1117 chips by themselves would have cost more than this whole unit. I never actually used the unit, but it looks well built. there werent any cold solder joints, so i can only assume that they worked before i harvested the chips from them.
