Build quality on this is very good and have found it easy to make cuts that are consistently square, so a major speed improvement when compared to just using hold down clamps and needing to check for square on each cut. I have rebated into the surface of my workbench to allow the clamps top to sit flush with the work surface and the reference edge square to the dog holes, this ensures every time I remove and replace the first cut is always going to be square.

I needed a rail hinge for my MFT. I could choose between the hinges from Festool, Benchdog or Dashboard. I have now ordered and installed the rail hinge. The delivery arrived earlier than announced, everything was neatly packaged and in perfect condition. At first glance, the hinge makes an extremely solid and stable impression, nothing wobbles, there are no sharp edges or anything similar. After installing the original Festool rail, everything works perfectly. The rail fits on the hinge without wobbling. Overall, I am very satisfied and can recommend the hinge without hesitation.

Using with Makita rail proved to be tight fit (excellent). Robust construction with sufficient height adjustments. VFM. Recommended. My only issue is how to adjust it to cut material with less than 6mm thickness.

Really sturdy and good quality. I use Makita guide rails and the attachment for the rail is nice and tight with no movement, the locator pin is also nice and tight but the rail hinge did have a tiny bit of movement but not a massive amount. Overall I would say it's a steal especially considering it's less than half the price of competitors products.
