With my Taylor big baby it was ALMOST too wide to hold it up, It has to sit at the very back to not slip up to the tuner heads. That being said, with it all the way back I have to spend a little more time when hanging to make sure it's not on the wall while its still sitting on the head. Also, although it is functional, it's not the most aesthetically pleasing. The rubber cushions move away from the ends with the guitar on it so you have the ends poking out when its in use. Overall very low cost making it worth it if that's the main benefit you're looking for.
