YT review however doesnt mention, this radio has probably the most three position switches out of gun type radios on the market. I have tested mine on the bench and all channels worked correctly. 18650 power is a great idea, unless you want high capacity lipo, cause there is not much room for that, and any cuts you make to free up some room, will make using 18650 again - impossible. Receiver is perfectly protected in that plastic box. Battery has this latch pictured and a slide on cover with securing screw. Lack of manual is a pretty BIG hindrance, as you have nothing to refer to other than yt.
