At first sight, it's a nice little receiver. (haven't done a range test as yet.) Two points of concern, however: At close distance, the HF imput gets swamped: connection loss... :-( Genuine FrSky D8 recevers can touch the TX arial and will function all the time. Then, while recovering from signal loss, servosignals momentarily go outside there limits. Only shortly, but nevertheless. This is sloppy engineering....

It seems to be a full range reciever with an amplifier chip between the cc2500 and antennas. It might just be a chip for the diversity switching though and doesn't amplify the signal. Its labeled "2411 5179.1 UC1307". Couldn't find anything about it yez
