I gave this a five star item It is very safe to use it only comes on when you set your cup down on it and when you pick it up it shuts off automatic and also you can set a timer on it so if you dont have your cup on it the serfes stays worm for 15 or 30 secants' as you wish to have it sat too. You will need to have a complete flat bottom cup in order to work correctly.

Everything works as intended, I would just work on isolation from the table side as it might leave quite ugly marks.
