Works as expected.Total height of the coil is 25cm(including the needle). Can light up noble gases ampules (mine were ~110mm), so every ampoule of smaller lenght will light up also. The plug was US type but I was in Europe so I had to buy an adapter. The powersupply is 100-240V (50/60HZ) AC in to 42V 1.5A DC out. It has a fan at the bottom (3.5mm diameter and connected to a heatsink) and doesn't get hot at all. The phone 3.5mm cable works with no problem. It has no volume control through the coil , which means the coil works at max power all the time. Changing the volume through the phone only makes it sound less but the noise of the coil its the same, so the " noise to total sound ratio " gets higher. As a tip, I have to mention that you should unplug the cable of the powersupply first and then unplug it from the tesla coil . If you do it in any other order, the cable sparks ,also the supply holds some charge for many hours. The two photos of the ampule are take same brightness ut with different exposure time ( one for the light of the ampule, the other for the coils' spark).
