Q: Does the device have a tripod socket?

corgrove1gmailcom no, no socket but it has 4 mounting screws on the base that could be utilized. This is a very nice projector, but a bit big for a tripod I think.

corgrove1gmailcom don't connect more than 300W panel on this. I have 300 w 24v and cooling fan coming on already about every 10 minutes for about 20 to 30 seconds.

Q: someone explain to me how 20W can be produced with only 12V/600mA P=UxI so P = 7,2W

corgrove1gmailcom I bought this thinking it is 20W. also bought a 20W solar pump. idea was to have the panel supply power to the pump. tried it and the pump didn't turn. panel power too low. So, you guys are right. this is not watt.

corgrove1gmailcom it heats up and fan goes on continuously. do not connect to more than 300 watt panel
