Q: Is there two output channels? why are the separate outputs for positive and negative with this kind of connection?

BG101524152 Thereis only one channel - the generator chip can support balanced output and the board designers have taken advantage of this to provide two outputs. I haven't looked at using these as a balanced output - if you want to do this you need to use phase-matched (equal length) cables.
