pfeerick Documentation for the Multi Protocol module is at www.multi-module.org You've not specified what type of radio you are using - whether it is running OpenTX, EdgeTX or needs the protocol to be set via the control knob on the back. If it is OpenTX or EdgeTX, you simply go in the model settings, enable the External RF module, set it to MULTI, and then pick the V761 protocol. If it is a transmitter that requires you to use the control knob on the module to set the protocol because the radio is unable to, it is somewhat more complicated (and also requires that you are running the PPM firmware, not the Serial control firmware). Basically, you can access up to 70 protocols via the knob, and they are divided into groups or banks of 15. V761 is protocol 48. So you would set the knob to 15 to set the bank. 48 should be in bank 4 (1 is 1-14, 2 is 15-28, 3 is 29-42, 4 is 43-56, 5 is 57-70), so you would power on the module (i.e. turn on the radio), and see how many times the led blinks. if it is not 4, short-press the button to change banks. The led should come on for a second, and then resume blinking. repeat the short presses until it does 4 blinks. Then, power off the radio. Now, since you want protocol 48, 48-43 equals, 5, so now set the knob to 5. That should be it. When you power up the module, it should be in the V761 protocol. Hope that helps. Checkout out the Multi documentation if you get stuck, you'll find it very help, and there is also the RCGroups forum you can g

pfeerick DSMX and SFHSS protocols, yes. I can't comment on X18SE compatibility from personal experience, but it is the correct module type - Lite (Nano), and ETHOS does have support for MPM, so it should work just fine.

Q: will this module fit and work with radio master boxer tx with edgetx software?

Asked by jcaban01@hotmail.com on 2023-02-23 00:49:24

pfeerick Yes, this works perfectly fine with the RM Boxer and EdgeTX. I would suggest you also look at the RM 4IN1 that has just been released if considering this.

pfeerick I've not used this transmitter personally, but since this version of the module supports setting the protocol via the rotary switch on the back when used with PPM only transmitters, and the FS-ST8 does appear to support PPM for the external RF module, it should work. However, it would be better to get confirmation from someone with a FS-ST8 and IRX4 Plus MPM.

Q: Can it use the ELRS protocol?

Asked by firoz on 2022-10-05 19:33:35

pfeerick No, MPM does not currently support ELRS. There was a pull request to add support for it, but I doubt that will happen given the pace of development of ELRS. Having a dedicated ELRS module will be the better option long term.

Q: is it pre soldered? thank you

Asked by BG413733249 on 2022-08-21 15:32:59

pfeerick The ones I purchased came with the bullet connectors pre-soldered and heatshrinked, and the battery wire soldered on, but no connector fitted so you could solder your own on.

pfeerick I've not used the Flysky i6 transmitter personally, but it is telemetry capably, and has the sensors list and choose sensors options under "system - rx setup". However I do have both this receiver and the smaller 6CH version, and to use sensors to monitor things like flight battery, altitude, RPM you use the SENS iBus port. And for basic RSSI, receiver voltage, etc, you don't need to connect anything, that is sent anyway.

Q: Does this support v761 protocol

Asked by Tee JC on 2022-05-19 08:32:09

pfeerick This module supports all of the protocols that the MPM firmware offers. V761 is listed as a supported protocol. So it should work. I would update the module bootloader and firmware after receiving it, so you get any bugfixes and updates to the firmware and protocol support. If you have any issues with the V761, report it to the project github, and I'm sure it will be sorted out.
