Q: What size is the bolt or screw that is used to secure to this rail slide?

Ronald It is designed to slide over the rails. There is no bolt or screw to secure it.The 4 screws to mount the slider are M3

Ronald No, one cannot turn off the lines. As far as I know it is fixed in the camera.

Ronald Itis reliable to have it active for about 5 hours depending on the quality of the battery.
