Q: whats it amperage ? or potency (W)?

Asked by alexantao on 2023-08-25 16:59:40

apoormarksman Just treat it like a little starter motor. It probably has common parts. Amperage depends on demand.

apoormarksman Mine fades before completely cutting out when I remove the key and shut the doors as with the original. Brighter than filament bulb on Suzuki Jimny.

Q: what do I have to buy separately?

Asked by BG483349346 on 2023-02-14 23:19:22

apoormarksman Only the geared electric motor and propellor in the kit. No radio equipment is supplied or a 1S cell. These have to be purchased seperately. The wings have to be built by bending the straight carbon rods and covering with material supplied - no adhesive in the kit either.

apoormarksman Chinglish, I am afraid. You will have to source Radio and Servos yourself. A pity the description of the TY is poor and there is no option to buy all parts ARTF. If the wings and tail were already covered there would be more sold.

apoormarksman Prop hole fits over motor shaft. Two screws stick out of motor bell. Loop O ring around onescrew , pull over prop and snap around the other screw. Ring will pop off or break in a prang and not damage motor. Carry spare o rings!

Q: Do these work with the Eachine mini warbirds?

Asked by BG404170465 on 2022-02-03 11:03:26

apoormarksman The Trojan uses a 360MAH battery, so this 600MAH is a lot larger and nearly twice as heavy. The motors probably have enough power to lift the extra weight but that weight is your enemy, and you may be flying a brick, unless kept flying fast it will stall and drop out of the sky. You may need to dig out some foam to make more battery space, - if there IS space . . . . I would avoid the price temptation and keep to the recommended capacity. Offers always coming up.

Q: Is this 180 degrees or continuous?

Asked by trielement on 2022-01-27 06:39:54

apoormarksman Can't say, I haven't checked, but these servos have a wiper board unlike the continuous servos which haul boat sails. ( disable wiper board and they will rotate as long as the power is applied). You can bet these have about 60 to 80 degrees throw from neutral position, so 120-160 degrees in all. OK for smaller planes but nylon gears can be stripped in a prang. Bigger planes use metal gear servos.
