bikinidan Yep, I know how you feel. I would much prefer to have a chauffeur-driven Rolls to take me where I want to go but I can only afford a Toyota Corolla. However, look on the bright side, it still gets me from A to B AND I can now afford quite a few more planes, etc at the price of this. :)

bikinidan For Multi Protocol Radio users this uses the FX/9630 protocol (need latest firmware version) or use a DSM or S-bus satellite receiver. Be warned that the flight board has shown some very strange behaviour in the Crane/Hover Mode at least!

bikinidan Ifyou "Have needed to re-bind with the jumper quite a few times" then probably the problem is that you have not selected a different receiver number for each Flysky receiver that you are using. Your Multi Radio will only maintain the bind to the last Flysky receiver selected - if you fly another plane with a different Flysky receiver with the same receiver number (default 0?) you will have to rebind to fly the first model.

bikinidan Itlooks like the morons have been let loose in the comments on this post. To counter them, the original post is correct as far as it goes. The plane is easy to put together and flies well - if a little sedately. You can wake it up by going to 3-cells BUT you MUST also add a voltage regulator to bring down the higher battery voltage to the 8.4V (MAX) that the flight board will stand.

bikinidan Throttleup and down to complete bind and arm motor, then check for motor. All should work then. If not, try plane on first, then transmitter - should only be necessary if not bound from factory. Check that all the stabilization modes work when throwing the 3-position switch.

bikinidan Yep,the ESCs (and even the stock JST connectors) have a habit of self-destructing pretty quickly on this one! A pity because, if you replace the stock ESC and power lead with a good 12A ESC, stick it OUTSIDE the battery box, reinforce the battery box and motor mount nose area with bamboo skewers and replace the fragile landing legs with ziptie loops, it becomes quite a fun little toy for aerobatics in light winds. But stock - avoid it!
