kozmix I have the same results on both 100W modules I purchased :-(

I got the 100W unit and it's far below the claimed performance. When connected to the 100W COB chip it drops from 41V no load to just 29.9V feeding only 1.2A to the chip which equals merely 36W. Far less than the chip can deliver. Now, when I connect it to a 37V LiPo battery it can nicely stay at 36.4V and consume 4.6 Amps. So... the chip is perfectly capable of reaching the claimed rating and is

kozmix I'm getting similar results on the 100W model: 29,4V @ 1,2A, so approx. 36W instead of 100W. I tested on a few different 100W LEDs.

Label on unit says: 1500 mA at 21-38 VDC reality is: 600 mA at 29,5 VDC total spec confusion on banggood website not acceptable

kozmix Correction, it should go up to 35V but mine only goes to 34,2. Just not sufficient for driving the 100W COB LED I had purchased it for. But it will probably be enough for other LED brand that requires slightly lower voltage.

I initially thought this module was broken, as the output voltage didn't change when adjusting the potmeter. It turns out that as I was using a rather high input voltage (28V) I had to turn the potmeter several turns clockwise before it started boosting the output voltage. I haven't managed to get above 34V on the output, while this device should go up to 40V.

kozmix I have the exact same problem on first time use...

Does not work after 3 days of use. Input voltage is equivalent to output voltage. For example, when I used a car battery (12v) as the input, the output consistently remains the same (12v) despite having adjusted the potentiometer. Current and voltages have been kept below recommended maximum levels as well.
