Treblig Because you can choose between 1200mm and 1200mm wing span, especially if you choose 1200mm wing span. It's kind of the original Ford T you could get in any colour as long as you chose black.

Treblig If you mean the 2 extra 2-pin ports on the PCB, these are for lights (not supplied with the Z51). Check the user manual.

Q: is the button to close the landing gear on the remote control

Asked by BG941717161 on 2020-09-17 09:24:56

Treblig You hook the landing gear on the channel of your choice on the receiver and your transmitter will action it accordingly. What did you expect ? Telepathy ? ;-)

Overall, I'm satisfied with this headlamp however it has a few flaws : 1) I could not fit a protected 18650 cell in the battery compartment, only an unprotected 18650 cell fit (no problem I have piles of unprotected cells), the description should mention that. 2) the positive terminal is flat and does not make contact with the 18650 cell. You will have to bent it yourself which isn't difficult to do. I recommend dismantling the battery compartment (4 screws to remove) to properly extract the positive terminal, bend it and put it back. If you try bending the terminal without removing the battery compartment you run the risk to break the (thin) plastic casing. Manufacturer should fix this problem. 3) I strongly suggest you don't try charging the 18650 cell thru the USB plug since there is NO CHARGING nor PROTECTION MODULE in the headband I got. Applying 5V to a 18650 cell is NOT SAFE in any way, it is plain DANGEROUS and can result in a fire. 4) there is no overcharge / over-discharge module so it is up to the user to take care of this. 5) the 4 modes are set by successive presses on the switch which means you must press it a total of 5 times every time you use the headlamp. There is no way to retain the last setting with a long-press or some other means like some 3-4 bucks flash lights do. I wish the manufacturer had taken the useless and dangerous USB plug out and put a better mode-setting chip in the headlamp. Besides these points, the light is bright enough which is its primary function though I have no clue whether it meets the 650 lumens or not, The head band may be a bit too small to be comfortable for larger heads (58+ cm). Overall, and knowing its flaws, it's OK for me.

I have had this unit for a few days only and it has worked flawlessly. I see many comments about this unit being noisy but I have found it rather quiet (of course the air pump is making some noise but not much). Makes me wonder if people actually removed the two screws at the bottom of the unit before switching it on. These screws are ONLY necessary when moving the unit. I checked with a DMM if the unit was properly earthed and it looks OK in this respect. I have not looked inside the unit too see how it is built though. Setting the temperature is damn easy and fast with the potentiometers though muti-turn potentiometers would help setting a precise temperature more easily (but honestly that's no big deal). Both hot air and iron reach the set temperature quickly enough for my hobby needs. I find the hot air and iron switches too close to each other to switch one on or off without looking. The hot air won't stop by itself when put on its holder but I have not found this a major drawback. The iron is a Hihua 907A with a silicon cord, its holder though is not as good looking as the one on the product picture (looks like part of it is 3D printed, that's how rough it is). My regret is Banggood not selling genuine Yihua / WEP iron tips (the knockoff tips are of poor quality) nor does Banggood sale spare parts for the hot air (or they're not referenced for this specific unit) but one can get them from other well know shopping sites. It's the first combined hot air and iron unit I have therefore I don't have prior experience but I find it easy to use and of good value (at least when I bought it as it's now roughly 30 bucks more). Just need to experiment with SMD soldering as I have a few items that need hot air repair. Shipping was supposedly up to 5 days after dispatch but it took twice as long (EU to EU). Overall a good unit for a hobbyist. So far so good as the saying goes. If it lasts it will be an excellent purchase.

Treblig Iwould recommend staying away from knock-off FTDI chip. Plan B: other serial converters are using other chips but FTDI and they won't give you the level of frustration FTDI drivers may give you (they've been known for bricking knock-off devices). Plan C: buy a genuine FTDI board from FTDI resellers but be ready to fork $$$.

Treblig Late answer but it may help others. It's a 2G device. I understand the USA (and other countries) have stopped 2G service therefore data won't work. Furthermore it's not even a GPS tracker at all, only LBS & Wifi. Location in an up to 80 km² won't help much...

Q: I lost its motor mount how can I get one?

Asked by dangfiroz on 2020-04-05 01:27:33

Treblig It's not available here but you can find it on another well-known Chinese website but it's pretty expensive at about 10 bucks. If you have access to a 3D printer, you'll find Z84 motor mounts on thingiverse website.
