Pretty solid, just what you expect. Built well, works well, enough said. You might be able to put a foamy end on the earpipe. I am going to try mine now, the included urethane one isn't very comfortable, they never are.

Awesome! it'll grab any IR code you can throw at it, from what I've seen. It doesn't actually have to be vol/channel/power. I THINK you can have the power button send up to three codes at once. I use this with my LED lights. I currently have the vol for brightness, and the channel rotates thru the colors. Power for on/off. I love it! 10/10

Very cool. I miss having an IR interface on my older phones, did a lot of IR systems hacking and meddling with TVs in public. Now I can do that again! :) This works very well as a universal read/emit IR interface. I have the type-c version, using it on my BV9100 phone. Universal, modular, totally flexible and useful. 10/10

Great value, some of the picks are not really pragmatic for anything but teaching or practice. I was surprised how quickly I was able to open the exterior locks on my 2017 and newer cars. yeah, you'll set off an alarm if you are a burglar (shame on you) but if you are helping a friend or family member who locked their keys in the car, it works. I only need the last two mirror picks to get into most American cars. These won't work for the inverse laser cut key locks, obviously. the single sided tumbler tools are middle ground quality. At the very least, the manufacturer used the right alloy; very stiff but just enough compliance to avoid shattering easily. it took a good bit of force to bend one a few mm, and it was easy to bend back into shape. The practice locks are toys. Tons of slop... but I guess they work to demonstrate tumbler mechanics to a noobie just fine. All of the tensor tools/bars are great and useful. I'd say about half of the picks are practical and useful. I will probably put the ones I want on a smaller case for easier carry. Good deal all around though. 9/10

Not great. Had to disassemble entirely to clean and realign everything. Barely above Happy Meal toy quality. I will have to add an additional shim between one body section and another because it doesn't allow me to get below roughly 15m focal length. After really messing around with it and doing a quick prototype rebuild, it does work. the only thing I don't like is the view angle sucks, mostly because I had to jump up my digital soon by about 100%/2× just to get the round body out of frame. I am using a dual lens phone (Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom, killer camera) so if I pass 2.3x on the phone, I have to slide the module to the other lens body. Bottom line, don't expect much. the only things that are pretty good are the lenses themselves, and the clip assembly. Scope body is pretty lame, active parts are ok and lens are good.

I like them, I picked up three for use in various places around the house. They work, there is a notable lack of hysteresis where the LED will jump between blue and green or red and green a couple times very fast when at the temp threshold in either direction. The internal dynamo/impeller DOES make a slightly annoying impeller whine. It's not terrible loud, just a bit piercing. I believe the flow rate is a bit less than the factory diffuser on our faucets. This is fine; the difference is minimal and it could be caused by the dynamo impeller or by the reduction in total surface area of the diffuser opening(s). The body is made from a cheap, brittle, chrome painted polymer. This is fine because of the price point, I wouldn't consider it a deal breaker but you do need to be cautious and install with intent. Overall, they're a decent buy. Don't expect the world at this price. They do work as advertised.

I have mixed feelings about this light... I am some kind of flashlight collector/builder now, apparently. I don't know how this happened, but I enjoy it. This is for reference. I am also an experienced EE and DAE. For this last shipment, I ordered one of these, and a FT03. I like the FT03 much more than this light in most aspects, with the exception being simplicity, as that unit has a really complicated internal control system that must be programmed through very tedious bool-clicks of the power button. BUT I DIGRESS. I am running this with two 26650's (Basen 4.5Ah 3.7v[n]), which are probably the 'beefy-est' 26650 batteries I have. I appreciate the functional simplicity of both the operation modes and throw-zoom function. The mechanical aspect of the zoom feels proper, holds well (proper internal preloading) and there is not an noticeable cantilever binding or anything like that; it's nice. The simple Hi/Lo/Stro moding is great. The overall construction is okay; there is some visible slop and chaff from machine work inside the lens housing, it doesn't affect performance per say, but it is very visible be it a minor amount. This is not a serious issue, just worth noting. However, a moderate design flaw is present, there is not a means to effectively conduct heat out of the shaft/driver housing to the large finned lens housing likely due to the mechanical zoom mechanism. This light gets HOT, FAST. The overall brightness is good, not stupendous. MY single 26650 FT03 does seem to have a much more efficient driver as far as heat is concerned. Yes, I know it's a very narrow and obscure comparison, but it's the best I have for this review, especially because both lights are from the same supplier at the same (close enough) price. One big plus of this light, it's definitely a powerful blunt weapon at its size and mass. Not that I recommend it, you might do far more damage than intended and end up in jail! Overall, most people will like this product.

Picked up 6 of these, they're awesome especially at the China-direct price with coupon (about 99¢ USD). They are pretty accurate, no weird behavior, and they don't eat a lot of power. You can easily calibrate all functions with the fine adjustment pots on the back.

Awesome! very well made, the driver coding is... convoluted but fairly easy to program, you'll just need to follow the guide. The setup keying is not something that will be easy to remember at all, so I am going to make a PDF of the manual and keep it on my G Drive. Without getting into all of the modes etc, the base construction is 10/10, design is 10/10, performance is 9/10, price point is 8.5/10. I did expect a little more energy out of the emitter but it's not bad at all, it keeps up with my septuple cree light (that one chews whatever current you throw at it, generally using pretty high draw 18650s in 1s4p config). before you say it, I am using some really nice batteries in this light; they're from a super reliable and high quality (apparently) company in China that provide something like 60A burst current, 35-30A consistent, 4.5ah 26650s. I have a huge ammt of recycled 18650s from laptop packs etc, but I wanted to use a very nice series of 26550 in this unit. very happy I did so far. Anyways, yeah, it's a very nice flashlight. If you can get it for $29.99 or less, yes absolutely. beyond that price point, it's a personal thing with the buyer IMO so that's up to you. In the USA, if expect to pay more than $150 for this exact unit. ( While I am a flashlight collector weirdo, I also have normal life expenses and a family to take care of, so yeah not spending $150 on a flashlight over groceries or something!)

Very small, I thought this was a 44mm unit but it's closer to 12-15mm. That's fine, it's just a bit more challenging to wick the heat out with lower surface area for a 10w+ emitter. I like it though, assuming it works and it's not DoA, haven't been home from work long enough to test yet, but I don't suspect any issues. This would seem to be a very well make emitter. At this price point, which realistically is damn near wholesale for individual units, it's a fair purchase. I have a few more LED emitters coming from BG right now, including some RGB middle wattage, UV middle wattage, and one shortwave UV unit that's 100w. I generally have positive results getting diy components from BG, so as I said, not worried about quality before testing!

Love it! ordering 5 more in a minute. The China-direct price is $1.99, and I'm very happy with that. I use these in devices I build, including serial current checks with internal power sources (generally a 1-2S SS compact managed lithium cluster of my own design) The first unit I purchased will be used in exactly that, a single in single out ammeter with a switched rechargeable lithium power source using banana ports for the I/O. These have three adjustment controls, zero i, i value, and v value. Values are adjustable with pots, i zero is just a jumper section without pins. Mine reads zero fine and will not be used within even a low Tesla rotating/alternating magnetic field, so this should be a zero-issue utilization of all the device functions. Happy overall!

Awesome! Simple low-baud serial over the audio I/O on the radio, does exactly what it's supposed to with no fuss. I am using the Chirp software from Baofengs web page. Pulled this out of the box, plugged up my radio, I was programming it in less than 5 min. Good deal, works great, can't go wrong if you want to set up your radio channels with labels instead of bouncing around manually in freq. mode. Also, you need this to change some of the coding on the radio, too. (At least with my UV-5R, I do)

This is a nice little unit. looks good,feels good, works very well. it's packed with control features too, for just about anything you'd need on a precision VHF/UHF unit. I am mostly using mine for listening, but there are some frequencies I will Tx on, too, both at high and low power. I'm replacing a RadioShack 4 band listener with this for my home handheld unit, but I think this radio will get a bit of field service too, just because I like it a lot. The unit is a bit smaller than I expected, which is fine. Excellent control interfacing, but it is very busy so read the manual. my only complaint is that the li-ion pack does wiggle a good bit. I should have bought two! These will make amateur or some pro guys very happy, especially at the price point.

I love these tiny SMD regulators. You can pepper them all over a project board for individual modules or segments so long as they don't need the same ref voltage or a common V(in) bus etc. The price is fair (I bought the 100ct of the AMS1117-5.0 for like $5-6), the tape is in great shape (for those of you who have the dough for an IC manufactory!), and you get exactly what you expect and pay for! 10/10, good to go!
