Q: is this compatible with Taranis QX7 ?

Asked by LONDONFOG on 2019-06-20 03:49:49

Arise Rx2APro is a Flysky receiver, not a FrSky. The only way to make it work with a QX7 is using an external JR Bay module for Flysky installed in your transmitter, I suppose you don't have such thing in mind.

Arise It has a 5V bec, it is in the left part of the board, in the middle is the big F4 CPU, to the left there is the 5V stepdown, you can see the inductor (the thing with 100 written on it), the caps for filtering the input and output (the brown components), there is also a diode to prevent upstream current flow (black thing above inductor), there is a chip with 6 legs right under the inductor which is the switching chip that actually produces 5V. As you can see in the description, there are also 5V pads, those pads can't come from anywhere... At last, if you look above the USB connector, in the left side, there is a black chip with 3 legs, that one probably is a 3.3V LDO used by the the F4 and the gyro, but can't be absolutely sure because on the other side is another chip with 5 legs which could be the LDO regulator as well...
