TimothyBarnum Sorry, nothing on battery or in directions says the AH. It's Li-on and measures 4 and one half in long by 3 in wide by 1in thick and weighs 10 ounces if that is any help.

Q: Can I convert it to glow and if yes is the OS 0.15LA enough?

Asked by BG955475449 on 2021-01-28 05:35:07

TimothyBarnum I had a 1-2 A 049 engine on a control line plane in 1951. It was a little smaller than this plane but just as heavy. I hadn’t flow a plane until a couple of years ago. The electric engines of today are simple to start, don’t require highly flammable fuel or a big battery for start up. It had only one speed. I still have the engine, a Holland Wasp .049 but I can’t see any.

TimothyBarnum Jst 1.0 means the pin spacing between the three pins in the female connector on the board are 1.0 mm apart. Texas 2017 is correct that 1.7g servos required have a pin spacing of 1.25 mm. So they are incompatible. I did find male jst 1.0 male 3 pin connectors with leads on Amazon a year ago. I plan to cut off the jst 1.25 connector from the servos and solder on the Amazon connectors. Note also that the servos need to be low voltage since a 1S 3.7 volt battery is the max for this receiver.

Q: is this need any flight controler

Asked by Raj Raj on 2020-11-09 07:57:49

TimothyBarnum I haven't used this yet, but I purchased it for micro RC 450mm wingspan airplane it which includes a brushed motor. The receiver is meant to be compatible with a dsm2 dsmx receiver. The Esc is integrated as it doesn't need to provide a step down voltage to lower power servo's. It used a 3.7v battery. Larger planes tend to used Brushless motor and 7.4 or greater batteries so need a separate ESC. The Spectrum DSM2 transmitters are a lot more expensive than the AFSHD2 FlySky transmitter but FlySky doesn't seem to make a compatible receiver. There is a problem with the jr 3 conductor connector for the servo. On this receiver, the spacing between pins is 1mm, but the 2.7 low power servos (for 3.7v) have 1.25 pin spacing. I found some connectors on Amazon which are 1mm spacing and planned to replace the servo connector cutting it off and soldering on the 1mm one.

Asked by DICKFRANKLINhsv on 2020-09-07 12:07:58

TimothyBarnum I'm sorry, I haven't needed to do this so I don't know. I assume you have downloaded the manual from FrySky. Have you checked Youtube?

TimothyBarnum I downloaded the manual on line probably from frysky. I have not tried to do trainer or student mode. They are not listed in the table of contents but as you have probably noticed , there is a trainer port on the back labeled as such in the manual. Sorry I can’t be more help.
