I ordered the silver and the grey color boxes one each piece. Both of them had dents on the surface. Since the hassle of returning them is greater i will keep them. The boxes are made of relatively thin sheet of aluminium and can get easily dented. The color on the boxes is done via anodizing but is a hit and miss. The grey colored box 8 received had blemishes. The internal area is lined with velvet. A bit hard to open and the plastic lining in the middle keeps the metal ends connected.

Great set, both in terms of look and functionality. The bits are solid and give a feel that they will last, if properly used. The metal case is good, but for some reason the grabbing mechanism was releasing the plastic bit case upon small jerks. All in all a good buy for your electronics repair needs.
