Q: would a battery 56mm x 30mm x 18mm fit in this plane?

Asked by Jason on 2021-01-17 06:14:31

rhe battery bay: 70mm x 30mm x 18mm. I found a 1Ah 2S that fits and provides 6 minutes reliable flight.

rhe Mine does that as well. I think it may be an idiosyncrasy in the gyro controlled modes; the rudder stick command appears to demand some yaw movement of the plane, in other words it the rudder angle holds until the plane angle responds (yaw). I also notice a greater range of the rudder servo in gyro stabilized modes. I also had elevator tail wagging in flight. I haven't figured out what makes the tail wagging worse, it seems intermittent. It is probably a result of the gyro feedback gain in the control loop. I haven't tried expert mode (gyro off) yet - still learning my hand eye coordination.

Q: how many propellers does this spitfire come with?

Asked by Bill on 2022-11-10 06:13:27

rhe Mine came with two double bladed props and one triple bladed. All had the quick release joint. Also there was one replacement joint for the prop shaft; the receiver on the drive shaft. It flies well with both types of props.

rhe No. The front wheels are held by steel wire, not much wind resistance. It flies well with the wheels attached.

Q: Does the controller start beeping when your running out of battery?

Asked by BG171413461 on 2022-09-04 09:22:34

rhe Yes it does beep. All control surfaces will continue to respond. I think the motor continues also, but if you reduce the prop to off it will not restart.
