I have mixed feelings, the drone comes pretty well tuned. the construction is robust enough to take some pretty good hits, I did install the carbon fiber support "X" to help. it will fly with an 850 battery bit motors don't love it and props are too small for that weight 450 is ideal. the one big issue is the motor wires are not well protected in only a few flights you will end up cutting them with your props , and that means soldering new wires to the old and re-attaching to the board. I highly recommend taping them in place if you don't like needless work.. but I didn't know. If the fix the wore routing or secure them better this would be a 5 star review.

these are very mild pitch, so they don't give much punch and require higher rpm for lift. I paired them with the wrong motors I think and they just weren't what I was looking for. the propellers are a softer plastic the tips broke off (due to abrasion with hard things) without shattering the blade. the quad still flew at least. I would say these are good for more leisurely flying, I just bout them for the wrong purpose. a little harder plastic I think would be better, but that might be my bias in liking to hit things.

this pen works perfectly well, automatically shuts off to save power need to tap button to activate again. the pressure is very linear, though it does take a lot of pressure to hit 100% good feel and rechargeable, I would recommend (also works with surface magnet and will fit same holders as surface pen.

these work amazing with the kopis mini, (besides the fact they fit the F1506 NO shaft properly, they make for a really snappy 3 inch quad.

Q: new to fpv. is this cam and stak all I need to install to fly?

Twasgob the cam (air unit) is not included with this stack. you need this stack, 4 motors, frame (with xt60 connector), battery, and props. if you have DJI goggles and controller then you need DJI air unit or caddx DJI compatible cam. if you aren't using DJI then you need radio receiver for drone, radio controller, and camera and goggles that will work together.

Twasgob yes it does, I just used it, no need to drag your laptop with you for easy tuning.

I'm Canadian, I'm real I and this review is completely legit! This is a great little quad, it will give you the full FPV experience at half the price of a good 5 inch build. I don't love the prop choice because they aren't easy to buy locally the propellers them selves are great and we'll matched to the motors, also the flight controller is not well affixed to the frame, but this was easily fixed. You MUST update the firmware on the quad, and if you are new you are going to want to configure this in beta flight to allow angle or horizon mode so you can land more easily using line of sight. The flight controller and ESC is great, the motors have a good amount of pop without killing the batteries too fast. I highly recommend this as a great choice for DJI goggles. in fact it would even make a great first "learning" quad. Considering it is only a few dollars more than the air unit it self, I'm frankly amazed at the quality.
