these tend to need care as the pure copper helps rapid solder. Just cleaned the tips with some steel wool and then heated to temp and flow solder on it. a cleaning from time to time keeps them in perfect shape.

Q: Fiquei confuso quanto a descrição do produto, ele da suporte para AM4 ou não?

BreeBree It says it supports the AM4 but the back-plate doesn't. So you would have to use the AM4 stiffener that came as part of the cpu socket on that motherboard you are using.

BreeBree Yes it can be used on AM3 and AM2 generation cpu's as well as the new AM4.

for very low temp work .. 138c version. allows smd soldering in a home oven.. did full reflow for new projects that i built at home .. will get more

BreeBree no this isnt a waste oil heater.. if you do get it to burn 'if' it will clog the burn chamber
