The laser is well packaged for transport. The parts are all spotted. Individual bags contain the parts for each step (see photos). Tools are also provided. The assembly is quite simple and the assembly quality is very good (I put a photo for step 2 as an example). The device does not take up a lot of space and is easy to move around. The only complaint I would have to make would be that I had to have a computer nearby. Too bad it's not standalone or wireless like a printer or scanner. This would make it easier to use it. I'm going to see if I can find a system that would allow the USB connection to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Because I can't put it next to my fixed PC, and my laptop screen doesn't work anymore. Le laser est bien emballé pour le transport. Les pièces sont toutes repérées. Des sachets individuels contiennent les pièces pour chaque étape (voir photos). Les outils sont également fournis. Le montage est assez simple et la qualité d'assemblage est très bonne (j'ai mis une photo pour l'étape 2 comme exemple). L'appareil ne prend pas beaucoup de place et son déplacement est facile. Le seul reproche que j'aurai à faire, serait celui d'avoir obligatoirement un ordinateur à proximité. Dommage qu'il ne soit pas autonome ou sans-fil comme une imprimante ou un scanner. Cela rendrait plus facile son utilisation. Je vais regarder si je ne peux pas trouver un système qui permettrait de mettre la connexion USB en Wi-Fi ou Bluetooth. Car je ne peux pas le mettre à côté de mon PC fixe, et l'écran de mon ordinateur portable ne fonctionne plus. Je trouverai bien une solution. Maintenant, il ne reste plus qu'à le tester. I am really happy with the results produced by this engraver. had to tweek the settings till I got it right. it is money well spent. very light and portable.

Wow this machine is impressive, the assembly was a bit trickier then I thought it would be and I actually slightly damaged two of the rollers when installing the main beam, luckily it does not seen to affect the machines performance. although this machine is small it has some of the best features on the market. and the build quality is amazing..

As a UK Knife maker I have been looking for a process to put my Makers Mark on my blades, this high value machine does a beautiful job of putting a very resilient dark mark on stainless and carbon steel allowing me to change my whole approach to this task. The laser arrived in good time and as stated requires only a little work to build, the belt and roller bearing being the only fiddly stage, once the free software was installed I was getting results in minutes.
