Q: What is the output impedance

Asked by snoggle on 2021-03-18 09:32:30

florins Impedance 50Ω±10%(Typical) - that's what's written in the documentation, it seems to work well on a 50 ohms load, but, I don't personally have any reason to measure it exactly

Q: What kind of plug use?. Can this work for México??. thx

florins The microscope is powered through an micro-USB type B connector. The other end of the cable can be any computer or USB compatible power supply, so the microscope will work very well in México, as in any other country.

Q: What is the output current for this module?

Asked by BG363949512 on 2020-11-27 12:21:03

florins The maximum current that XL6009 circuit (which is the base of this module) is 4A. However, the series diode is SS34, which has a maximum current of 3A, so, the module can probably safely supply up to 2A.

florins If the microscope is powered off, when you connect the USB cable, the microscope will power on, and it will present a screen where you can select what mode to start operating in: (1) Mass Storage - this will allow access to the pictures and videos captured on the SD card; (2) PC Camera - this will see the microscope as a PC Camera that can be accesses via applications on the PC, I am using S-EYE, and the native Camera app on Windows 10, but there are many other applications that can be used; (3) REC_mode - that's the standard operating mode of the microscope, which will allow image and video capturing on the SD card. You can also choose to power off the microscope. I believe that in all 4 modes (1..3, + power-off) the battery will charge, but when the battery is full the charging process will stop by itself, so you don't really need to worry about it.
